Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip

Last week we had a dip day at work on Thursday where everyone in the offices contributed a desert. One of my co-workers made this cookie dough dip that was amazing! A few simple steps and you have this delicious dessert.

1/2 cup butter

3/4 cup brown sugar

6 -ounces cream cheese, softened – You can use an entire 8 ounce package, but I like the brown sugar flavor to stand out.

3/4 cup powdered sugar

2 Tablespoons milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon salt

3/4 cup mini chocolate chips, plus extra for sprinkling

Mix cream cheese and butter until light and fluffy. Add sugars.  Stir in vanilla, milk, and salt until combined. Stir in the mini chocolate chips.

Garnish with additional mini chocolate chips. Serve with animal crackers, vanilla wafers or graham crackers.
