The mini pumpkin: they’re so cute and teeny tiny I can’t get enough! I always go for the big, round orange pumpkins but just realized how little, cute and not to mention cheap the smaller pumpkins are! Chicken Tortilla Soup

There’s no doubt about it, it’s officially soup season. I have to admit this is one of the top ten reasons I love fall so much! Soup, soup, and more soups!

Today I made chicken tortilla soup for the first time and was pleasantly surprised with how easy and delicious it turned out! I had a whopping three helpings!

The best part is it’s healthy, cheap and makes enough for leftovers!

In a large crockpot add 4.5 cups chicken broth, half a diced onion, one can of corn, one can diced tomato, one can black beans, and cooked chicken (I used rotisserie). Add lime juice, chili powder, paprika, ground pepper and fresh cilantro to the pot. Top with a lime wedge, grilled tortilla strips, avocado slices and cheese.

Chelsea Boots

I am totally pumped to go shopping for fall accessories and clothes after packing away all of my summer clothes this past weekend. I just made two big trips to Goodwill of clothes that I haven’t wore in years to make room for some new great pieces to add to the wardrobe!

Chelsea boots are on top of my want list for fall. They are a must have this season! They look great worn with skinny jeans, leggings, with a chunky knit sweater, blazer, a blouse, a long length knit cardigan, okay you get the idea they can basically look great with everything! They are such a great wardrobe staple. They immediately give off that rock and roll vibe since The Beatles rocked them but can also be super chic.

They are not only perfect for fall but also great paired with a dress and tights over the winter months basically the best ‘every day’ boot! You can opt for flat chelsea’s or if you prefer you can opt for one with a small block heel – Both look equally as good.

Check out some of my favorite looks around the web of how to style them:
