My weekend spent at home with family was truly amazing! It was filled with lots of  yard work, grilling out and some relaxing by the pool. On Saturday we took a family trip to check out  Country Heritage Winery & Vineyard. To most this Winery is a hidden gem out in the middle of nowhere off the beaten path, but for us this is right around the corner from our house.

The drive is lined with grape arbors & old barrels they have turned into lights, a charming front porch with rocking chairs and an outdoor patio with plenty of seating looking over a pond.  They offer a great selection of dry to sweet wines with five free tastings and delicious wine slushies that you can’t pass up.  

We drank copious amounts of wine, indulged in a cheese and cracker tray and simply enjoyed each other’s company. Weekends like this don’t come along that often, but when they do, they sure are sweet.
