Last week I experienced three new restaurants in Indy that everyone must try! It’s nice to switch it up once in awhile and try new places that you’ve never been. Friday night us girls went for drinks and cocktails on Mass Ave. After Bakersfield told us that they had a two hour wait we found ourself venturing to Bru Burger across the street and Ohhh myyy I am so glad we did!
The menu includes the Provencal, piled high with red-onion jam, herbed goat cheese, and sauteed mushrooms, along with The End, a beef bomb loaded with horseradish Havarti, caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato, and a fried egg. It’s not just the toppings—the all-important bun-to-burger ratio is spot-on, they have tons of sides to choose from mac and cheese, fries, the PBR-battered onion rings with slightly sweet housemade ketchup it was all amazing!
Friday night we made a stop to Ball and Biscuit before having dinner at Bru Burger. Not only do the people of Indianapolis love the atmosphere of this bar but so does Esquire magazine, as it topped their Americas Best Bar list. This bar offers an assortment of prohibition cocktails and a small tapas menu on the South end of Mass Avenue.
The night before Bru Burger I met up with my friend Morgan to finally try the restaurant Delicia! This modern eatery had an amazing atmosphere! It was so chic with tons of colored pillows, big booths and a brick wall creating a relaxing vibe. Delicia has an upscale menu offering many styles of Latin cuisine and their food was absolutely amazing! I would go back in a heart beat!
