Vegas Part 1

We’re sadly home from our vacation – feeling relaxed and almost caught up on our sleep now. It was a perfect trip (besides not coming home a millionaire), full of sightseeing and adventure.

Day one started off with a six hour flight, a few spicy bloody marys, and a connecting flight into Denver Colorado. Planet Hollywood was the perfect location with a room overlooking the fountain, tons of restaurants, shows & a casino with great staff.

We started off our first night with dinner at Gordon Ramsey Burgr which always had a line the entire time we were there, but it’s one of the best burger places in my opinion and worth the wait. The menu items at this Las Vegas restaurant offered a wide selection from fried chicken sliders, fries served with curry ketchup and chipotle ketchup, hand-made jalapeño poppers, tons of burger choices & sticky toffee pudding—in a push-pop!

Not only was the food to die for, we all agreed BURGR served up the best cocktails around, too.  A fun atmosphere, great design, and delicious food.

After too many blue moons and burgers we headed to the casino for some black jack. The three hour time change and full stomachs caused quite a lack of energy.

We played for a couple hours and then walked across the street just in time for the fountain show at the Bellagio to end our first night.
