Crockpot Salsa Chicken

This isn’t the first time I’ve posted a crockpot recipe for salsa chicken. A long time ago, when I first started blogging, I blogged this version of the recipe and have tweaked the ingredients since then. This one is much better and has a lot more flavor. It is also a lot healthier because I no longer use sour cream or the cream of chicken.

Only 6 ingredients less than 5 minutes to throw together, I am in love.

Crockpot Salsa Chicken

  • 1 jar of salsa (your choice I used restaurant style tostitos the hot)
  • 1 can black beans
  • 1 can corn
  • 1 jar jalapeños
  • 1 package chicken breasts
  • 1 package taco seasoning

Throw it all in the crockpot. Turn it on low and cook for 6 hours. Shred the chicken, maybe sprinkle a little cheese on top! You can prepare the chicken in tacos, served over rice, used in quesadillas, mixed in with pasta and veggies, add in chicken broth and eat as a soup, put over chips for nachos or put on top of salad. Enjoy 🙂
