Wait. How is it already the middle of July? Saturday was my first weekend out on the lake this Summer. It was bright blue, refreshing, and just what I needed. I had such a great weekend celebrating Jake’s Birthday with our friends! Friday we spent the day making Jello shots, laying by the pool & trying Fat Dan’s burgers and fries for the first time. There’s something about the long, lazy days of summer, that beg for weekend trips to places you’ve never been. The temperature was in the high 80’s all weekend, the perfect lake weather, we packed up the car  with coolers, blankets, and food and headed to Monroe Lake for the weekend. We spent far to much time in the sun, had a bon fire and camped out for the night. We spent the day tubing and soaking up the sun. We are all exhausted and sun burnt but it was a great way to spend the weekend! 🙂
