Over the weekend I decided to put a little twist on the frozen breakfast burrito idea that I found on Kari’s Blog and make actual burritos. They are a life savor after a busy day when you don’t have time to pack your lunch or make anything for dinner.
1 1/2 lbs hamburger
1 tsp garlic
1 can refried beans
1 bottle mild taco sauce
24 large flour tortillas
1 bag shredded cheese
zip lock bags
Brown hamburger with garlic and drain excess grease. Lay out tortillas and divide meat mixture, refried beans and cheese among them. Add the taco sauce to each burrito. Roll up each burrito in plastic wrap and place each one in a gallon-sized freezer bags and freeze.
To serve, place one wrapped frozen burrito on a plate and microwave for 1 1/2 minutes.
