This weekend I went through my closet at home and came across two old jean jackets that I never wear anymore. Instead of taking them to Goodwill I decided to make bleached jean jacket vests that I saw on pinterest.

The first thing you do is cut the sleeves off the jacket as close to the hem as you can.

The next step is to dip the jacket in bleach. You can use laundry bleach, I poured it into a bucket and then just soaked the bottom half of the jacket.

Let the jacket hang for an hour or so, it will take awhile for the bleach to start working!
