I couldn’t think of a better way to spend a warm night in Broadripple other than sitting on a curb eating from the food trucks! Ever since Kalyn & I have moved to Indianapolis we have talked about checking out the food trucks that they have occasionally downtown or in Broadripple. We finally caught up with the Mac Genie, gourmet Macaroni and Cheese truck and ordered the original Genie Mac with sour cream, bacon, and tons of cheese!
After trying out the Mac Genie food truck we went to Fire on the Monon for some drinks and appetizers.
(Buddah Blossom = champagne + pear vodka)
1.) Easter Table settings
2.) Colored Easter Eggs
3.) Pastel colored Easter attire
4.) Easter Basket filled with all of your favorite things
5.) Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs
Over the weekend, I enjoyed Saturday with a visit from my family! We spent the afternoon together in Broadripple checking out the boutiques and stopping for appetizers and drinks at Chumley’s Bar and Grill.
(made homemade chicken alfredo pizza for lunch on Saturday)
(Dad & Robbie at Chumley’s during our afternoon in Broadripple)
(Mom & I having a mid day beverage)
(We spent Saturday evening at Champs Bar and Grill for some dinner and cheering on the last four teams remaining in the Final Four Basketball games)
(We ended the evening listening to a band and sipping on a pitcher of Blue Moon at Moon Dogs Tavern)
This Friday Kalyn and I decided to take ourselves out to visit a place new to us, Bub’s Burgers and Ice Cream in Carmel, Indiana. It’s located in the heart of downtown Carmel, right along the Monon Trail. It was on Man VS. Food because of it’s 22 ounce Ugly Burger!
Two people were on the wall for actually eating four of the Ugly Burgers!
& ended our night watching Hunger Games!
